The Mary Rose Museum
Brand development and marketing

500 years. A heartbeat away. A new proposition that brings people closer to Tudor life, closer to Henry VIII, and closer to the moment the Mary Rose sank.

Our brand firmly positioned the Mary Rose Museum as more than ‘just a historical ship’. Developed a year before the opening of the museum and used extensively in capital fundraising, the identity brings the story of this iconic vessel to life.

Our recent marketing campaign focused on the authenticity that sets the Mary Rose brand apart. The Mary Rose captures one moment in time. What makes it so special is how close it brings every visitor to that exact moment.

“Working with StudioLR was a successful voyage for the Mary Rose. The result speaks for itself: a definition of good design.”

Charles Barker – Director, The Mary Rose Trust
